History:
This anti-tank gun was first used by Germany in WWII during battle in the Soviet Union against their new heavily armoured tanks. This gun was effective against almost any of the Allied tanks used on the war. Being heavier than the Pak 38, the mobility was challenging in less than dry conditions. Conversley, with its armour penetrating capabillities, 23,500 Pak 40 Guns were produced.
